WARSAW, Dec 2 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has arrived here today in course of taking part in the 24th session of the Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Upon arrival at the Warsaw Chopin Airport, the President was received by Ambassador of Nepal to Poland Ramesh Prasad Khanal and officials at the Embassy of Nepal in Berlin.

The President is accompanied by Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet, MPs Purna Kumari Subedi, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Puspha Bhusal, Chandra Chaudhary and Ram Sahaya Yadav. Also arriving Warsaw today are foreign ministry officials and experts from the environment and media sector.
During the summit, President Bhandari is scheduled to present Nepal’s official view in relating to climate change to the participants from the 196 countries. She will also hold talks with her Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda.
Earlier, upon arriving at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, the President and members of her entourage were received by Charge d’affaires at the Nepali Embassy in Qatar Gayatri Bahadur Paudel and other officials. RSS
