President Bhandari, VP Pun and PM Oli congratulate Indian counterparts

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has congratulated the President of India Ram Nath Kovind on the occasion of the 70th Republic Day of India today. 


Likewise, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun ‘Pasang’ has also congratulated his Indian counterpart M. Venkaiah Naidu on the occasion of the 70th Republic Day of India.

Similarly, in a message today, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the same occasion. 



On the auspicious occasion of the 70th Republic Day of India,I'd like to congratulate H.E. PM Narendra Modi and the Indian people.I'd like to extend my best wishes for his good health and happiness as well as for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of India

In their messages, President Bhandari, Vice President Pun and Prime Minister Oli have extended their best wishes for the personal good health and happiness of their Indian counterparts as well as for continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of India, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


They have also expressed confidence that the ties of friendship between the two countries and peoples would continue to grow further in the days ahead, read the statement.
