President Paudel requests Emir of Qatar to help secure release of Bipin Joshi held hostage by Hamas

KATHMANDU, April 23: President Ram Chandra Paudel has requested the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to help secure the release of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student who was held hostage by Hamas after its attack in Israel on October 7.

KATHMANDU, April 23: President Ram Chandra Paudel has requested the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to help secure  the release of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student who was held hostage by Hamas after its attack in Israel on October 7.

According to the president’s secretariat, President Paudel raised the issue of Bipin Joshi's release during a bilateral meeting held with the Qatari Emir at the president’s official residence, Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday evening. The Emir of Qatar arrived in Nepal on Tuesday on a two-day state visit to Nepal at the invitation of President Paudel.
