Prime Minister Dahal addresses nation

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Prime Minster Pushpa Kamal Dahal has addressed the nation from the Parliament on Thursday. 


In his address to the nation, Prime Minster Dahal said the Federalism is an opportunity for Nepal, if used wisely.  


Stating that remittance is an importance source of our country , Dahal said the  government will keep record of those who are working as migrants in the foreign countries.


He further said that an advance information system will be installed at the immigration department within three months.

Nepal is preparing to sign a deal for  five other three countries in a bid to widen the foreign employment market.


Load-shedding will be reduced by installing solar panels in all the seven provinces generating 150 MW electricity.


He went on to say that infrastructures including construction of road, irrigation canals and school buildings will be initiated to generate employment to the poor people in each province.


Pokhara Regional International Airport will be brought into operation immediately. The construction of Second International Bara Airport will be expedited.


At least one industry will be established in each province, said Dahal.


He further said that Melamchi Water Drinking Project will be brought into operation immediately and Kathmandu-Tarai fast-track, Lumbini Master Plan will be expedited.
