HETAUDA, Feb 21: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that all the seven provinces in the country should be equipped with facilities according to the concept of federalism. She said that there is a need to provide all the facilities in all the seven provinces of Nepal.
She said that she had come to participate in the inauguration program of the newly constructed building of Hetauda Hospital organized by Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences in Hetauda on Tuesday. She held the view that it is the responsibility of the state to bring the public health services to the doorsteps of the citizens. In accordance with the concept of federalism, Madan Bhandari Health Sciences Academy requested to take special steps in the field of patient services and student education in Hetauda and surrounding areas.

Emphasizing that a healthy society can only be built from healthy people, President Bhandari said that development of the health sector is necessary for building a strong, developed, independent, self-sufficient and healthy nation. She stressed the need for providing necessary medicine and specialist services with modern technology at the doorstep of the citizens to achieve the highest goal of public health.
She expressed her belief that after the establishment of Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences in Hetauda, the provincial capital and industrial city, the service conditions of citizens will face progressive change.
She suggested that the people of Makwanpur and the surrounding areas should get quality services from the new building of the hospital. Madan Bhandari Institute of Health Sciences has constructed a 3-story building of Hetauda Hospital at a cost of Rs 430 million provided by the federal government.
