PSC opens vacancies for officer level positions

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has opened vacancies for 381 officer level (non-technical) positions. On Wednesday, the PSC advertised for promotion file submission and open and inclusive competitive examination based on seniority and performance evaluation.

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has opened vacancies for 381 officer level (non-technical) positions. On Wednesday, the PSC advertised for promotion file submission and open and inclusive competitive examination based on seniority and performance evaluation.


The PSC has published advertisements for 106 civil service personnel for promotion based on seniority and performance evaluation, while two personnel will be promoted within human rights service.

The PSC has invited applications for open and inclusive competitive written examination to appoint 273 officers. The vacancies include 203 officers for civil service, general administration, revenue, accounting, audit, and foreign affairs groups, along with 68 officers for justice service (justice, law, and government lawyer group). Additionally, there are two positions available for the human rights service.


The last date for submitting the online application has been fixed till January 1, 2024. The application can be submitted till an extended period until January 9 with a requirement to pay double the fee for application.
