Qatar Airways increases flight frequency to Jeddah, Medina

KATHMANDU, July 26 : Qatar Airways has announced an increase in services to Jeddah and Medina, connecting travelers from Saudi Arabia to more than 150 worldwide destinations and enabling football fans to conveniently travel to support Al-Ahli, the Kingdom's much-loved football team.

KATHMANDU, July 26 : Qatar Airways has announced an increase in services to Jeddah and Medina, connecting travelers from Saudi Arabia to more than 150 worldwide destinations and enabling football fans to conveniently travel to support Al-Ahli, the Kingdom's much-loved football team.



Qatar Airways will double its frequencies to Jeddah, increasing from 14 flights a week between King Abdulaziz International Airport and Hamad International Airport in Doha to 28 from August 1.



Issuing a statement, the airline said it would introduce an additional seven flights a week to Medina's Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport, increasing its total flights into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to 137 weekly from September 1.



Qatar Airways Senior Vice President for this region Ehab Amin said in the statement that they were pleased to announce increased services to these two cities within Saudi Arabia.



"By adding an extra 21 flights a week we are giving travelers even more flexibility to explore the world through our hub, Hamad International Airport, in Doha," he added.
