KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Some parts of the country’s hilly region are likely to witness rain today due to an impact of the westerly wind, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The DoHM stated that the sky will be partly cloudy in Province 1, Province 2 and Far Western Province while the rest of the country will remain mainly fair. Light rainfall is likely to occur in one or two places in Province 1, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Likewise, the MFD has requested everyone to apply needed precautions against colds as the mercury level is expected to go further down in the next 24 hours.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded a minimum 4.6 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 16.5 degree Celsius on Friday.
