Garbage trucks were also stopped on Sunday. Although it was said that 250 to 350 garbage trucks will reach Banchare Danda every day, only 90 garbage trucks reached Banchare Danda on Sunday.

Balendra Shah, mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, on Sunday, said that someone had taken some garbage to a water source and dumped it there and a garbage truck killed a goat, so the garbage trucks were stopped. He said that despite the removal of those two obstacles, the transportation of garbage was obstructed.
