Resunga-Kathmandu airfare rises amid fuel price surge

KATHMANDU, May 9: The airfare from Resunga, Gulmi, to Kathmandu has increased due to the increase in the price of aviation fuel.

KATHMANDU, May 9: The airfare from Resunga, Gulmi, to Kathmandu has increased due to the increase in the price of aviation fuel. 


According to Resunga Airport Station Chief of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), Suman Thapa, the airfare from Gulmi to Kathmandu is now fixed at Rs 7,301, while the fare from Kathmandu to Gulmi is set at Rs 7,501. Previously, the fares were Rs 7,080 and Rs 7,280 respectively.

NAC’s Twin Otter aircraft operates three flights a week in Gulmi, but an additional flight has been added due to passenger demand.


Now there will be four flights a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
