The Rhino had fallen into the septic tank of a private house in Sauraha last night and was successfully pulled out today, information officer at the Chitwan National Park Nurendra Aryal said. A team of army and the park officials worked together with the help of an elephant to retrieve the Rhino. The Rhino reportedly fell into the tank after its lid slipped under.
Meanwhile, the Park administration has appealed to the residents living near the buffer zone to fill up any potholes and to strongly cover up the septic tank and bio-gas plant.
