RPP leadership changed to make it the people's party: General Secy Rana

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana has said that Kamal Thapa was ousted to make RPP a people's party. Stating that RPP had been only for the party's leader till now, Rana said that the leadership has been changed to bring RPP as a people's party.

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana has said that Kamal Thapa was ousted to make RPP a people's party. Stating that RPP had been only for the party's leader till now, Rana said that the leadership has been changed to bring RPP as a people's party.


Speaking at a meeting held in Tulsipur, Dang, Rana said, "The leadership has been changed to make RPP as the party of the people.” Saying that RPP's style of thinking for the country has now changed, Rana said that the practice of making a leader from the pocket of another leader has come to an end.

Similarly, he said that RPP has two options to establish Nepal as a Hindu nation and return the monarchy. "One is the need for a civil movement and the other is election," he said. Saying that RPP could launch a nationwide agitation, he urged all the Nepali people to participate in the agitation. He also said that these two issues could be established in the country by ensuring the victory of RPP in the upcoming election.
