Rs 11 million raised while cutting electricity lines

KAWASWOTI, Dec 23: Nepal Electricity Transmission Centre, Kawawoti has raised revenue amounting to Rs 11.7 million by cutting off electric lines of the customers who did not pay tariffs for long.

KAWASWOTI, Dec 23: Nepal Electricity Transmission Centre, Kawawoti has raised revenue amounting to Rs 11.7 million by cutting off electric lines of the customers who did not pay tariffs for long. 


In the last five months, the Kawaswoti Centre has cut off electricity supply lines of 562 customers. Action was also taken against 649 customers for electricity theft through hooks, said Kawaswoti Centre Chief Umesh Prasad Yadav.
