Sajha launches semi floor public buses

KATHMANDU, Mar 8: Sajha Yatayat, a cooperative public transport company has launched Ashok Leyland’s semi floor bus for the first time in Nepal.

During a program on Wednesday, Bidya Sundar Shakya, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan city, Chiribabu Maharjan, Mayor of Lalitpur metropolitan city Chandra Prasad Dhakal president of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of commerce and Industry and Chairman of IME group, Keshab Badal, Chairman of National Cooperatives Association and Kanak Mani Dixit, Chairman of Sajha Yatayat jointly inaugurated the semi floor buses, a product of Ashok Leyland.


On the inauguration, program speakers stated that this new model buses assist to step-up easily. Ashok Leyland is the first public bus product company, which consist a single step, Front engine, fully flat floor bus, informed Sajha’s Chairman Dixit.
