KATHMANDU, Sept 22: After a halt for nearly six months, Sajha Yatayat is going to operate long-haul buses from tomorrow. The buses are set to resume operation for long distances for the convenience of people who wish to return to their homes for the Dashain festival.
The buses will operate both ways on the Butwal-Bhairahawa-Sunauli route and Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kusma-Baglung route. The first bus will leave for Baglung at 7PM in the evening followed by another bus leaving for Sunauli at 7:30 PM. A total of four buses will travel back and forth to the destinations.
Sajha Yatayat to operate buses to Baglung and Gorkha
The tickets for the buses will be sold from the head office of Sajha Yatayat at Harihar Bhawan, Pulchowk and New Buspark. The tickets can also be booked through E-Sewa.
“The busses will operate with necessary safety precautions,” said Mahendra Raj Pandey, the chief executive officer at Sajha Yatayat.
