Sankhuwasabha mass murder accused remanded in judicial custody

KIMATHANKA, Oct 5: The four persons accused in the mass killing at Madi Municipality-1 in Sankhuwasabha district have been remanded in judicial custody for further investigation into the case.

KIMATHANKA, Oct 5: The four persons accused in the mass killing at Madi Municipality-1 in Sankhuwasabha district have been remanded in judicial custody for further investigation into the case.  


Information officer for the District Court, Sankhuwasabha, Dilli Prasai said Khadga Bahadur Karki, Lok Bahadur Karki, Rana Bahadur Karki and Hasta Bahadur Karki were remanded for further investigation into the case.

Likewise, a 17-year-old Naresh Karki has been ordered to be sent to Child Correction Home, Biratnagar for being a minor.


Tej Bahadur Karki, 52,  his mother Parbati Karki, 84, spouse Kamala Karki, 52, daughter-in-law Ranjana Karki, 32, grandson Dipen Karki, 8, and granddaughter Goma Karki, 5, of Umling Khola, Madi-1 were brutally murdered on September 6.
