KATHMANDU, June 10: The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the submission of additional documents in the case against Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane. A division bench of justices Manoj Kumar Sharma and Til Prasad Shrestha directed the provision of details related to a cooperatives fraud case.
The bench has instructed the retrieval of the complaint registration book from the Kaski District Police Office, the chargesheet filed at Kaski Police, and the chargesheet registered by the Rupandehi District Government Attorney’s Office. Additionally, the SC has requested the report of the investigation conducted by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police.

The court also asked for certified copies of statements made by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Home Minister Lamichhane in parliament.
This directive aims to ensure a thorough examination and due process in the ongoing case.
