KATHMANDU, April 10: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an interim order regarding the formation of the Gandaki provincial government.

On Wednesday, a single bench of Supreme Court Justice Binod Sharma issued an interim order directing the Gandaki province government not to make any decisions with long-term impacts until this case is resolved. The Gandaki government has been instructed to adhere to the order issued by the Supreme Court.


Former Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey filed a petition in the Supreme Court, arguing that the formation of the government under the leadership of Khagraj Adhikari was unconstitutional.
