According to Govinda Prasad Ghimire, the Information Officer of the SC, hearings on habeas corpus writ petitions will take place daily from 11 AM to 3 PM. However, it's important to note that these hearings will not be conducted on Saturdays and the day of Dashain Tika.
Additionally, employees have been requested to arrive at the court by 10 AM in order to facilitate the registration of writ petitions. This will help streamline the process and ensure that cases are processed efficiently.
He said that the SC has also released a list of judges who will be presiding over cases at the SC from October 16 to October 27.
He added, “This move by the SC demonstrates its commitment to upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law, even during the festive Dashain season.”
