Only immediate hearing cases and habeas corpus to be heard during Dashain

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: The full court meeting of the Supreme Court has decided to hold hearings on cases of habeas corpus that require immediate hearing during the near-coming Dashain festival.

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: The full court meeting of the Supreme Court has decided to hold hearings on cases of habeas corpus that require immediate hearing during the near-coming Dashain festival.


A full court meeting including Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, took a decision to hear cases of habeas corpus and other issues of urgent hearings during Dashain, said Spokesperson of the Supreme Court Baburam Dahal.

The full court also decided the name of the justices who would continue to perform their duties even during the Dashain break. 


It has been decided to close all the courts across the country, including the Supreme Court, from October 7 to the day of Kojagrat Poornima on October 20.
