KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Senior advocate Tulsi Bhatta has urged the political parties to dismiss Chief Justice Cholendra SJB Rana from his post through the constitutional process of impeachment. Stating that the chief justice is a puppet for an underground organization, he urged other justices not to comply with the agreements made by the chief justice.

Likewise, Senior Advocate Ekraj Bhandari said that the ongoing protests at the Supreme Court have not reached the ears of the political parties. He also accused the leaders of political parties of reaching an agreement of ‘give and take’ with the chief justice for personal gains. Stating that the chief justice had been holding the cases of political leaders at the Supreme Court, he said that the political parties cannot say anything at the moment.
