KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Senior leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged one and all to act sincerely to implement the constitution.


Addressing a program organized to mark the Constitution Day, NCP leader termed Nepal's constitution as the world's best political document.

Leader Nepal, who is also the former prime minister, said "The constitution was drafted with the determination of making the country prosperous. Therefore, let's act sincerely to implement the national charter." He said "Nepali people drafted their constitution through the Constituent Assembly keeping the nation and the national interests at the center. There is no alternative other than implementing the constitution."


Nepali people will observe Constitution Day tomorrow by organizing various programs throughout the country. A special ceremony will be organized at Army Pavilion, Tundikhel to mark the day.


The ceremony will be attended by President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice President Nanda Bahadur, PM KP Oli, Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Timalsina, Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, chiefs of constitutional bodies, ministers, leaders representing various political parties, chiefs of security bodies, civil servants and others.
