Shruti Haasan may have found limited success in Bollywood, but she has made a place for herself in films down South. For those who came in late, Shruti made her acting debut as a child artiste in the movie 'Hey Ram', which was directed by her father, Kamal Haasan. The actress stepped into Hindi films with the movie 'Luck' opposite Imran Khan in the year 2009. Later, she was noticed for her acting chops in the Bollywood movie 'D-Day' (2013), which also had Arjun Rampal and Rishi Kapoor. Though Shruti was never extremely high on fitness, she got into fitness mode once she started working in films.

However, she doesn’t just try to stay in shape, but also works on agility, stamina, endurance and strengthening the core. Besides working out, Shruti loves dancing, and that too helps her lose extra calories and weight. Despite her hectic schedule, she ensures that she follows her fitness regime without fail. She recently shared a picture that has her working out in the gym with buddy Szilvia Szollosi. On the work front, Shruti has recently signed her first international series 'Treadstone', in which she will be seen playing a paid assassin. And it looks like, all this gym time will come in handy for the project.
