Single doctor running Jajarkot district hospital

JAJARKOT, March 10: A single doctor has run the Jajarkot district hospital service for a month. The 50-bed hospital is now facing hardship to deliver the services due to lack of doctors for a long.

JAJARKOT, March 10: A single doctor has run the Jajarkot district hospital service for a month. The 50-bed hospital is now facing hardship to deliver the services due to lack of doctors for a long. 


A local Resham Bahadur Khadka of Junichande Rural Municipilty-4 complained that they were forced to go to private clinics for minor treatments due to pathetic condition of the hospital.

He added that there is the posting of 59 medical persons including specialist doctors but only a single doctor is delivering the services these days. 


The hospital source has stated that they had received the manpower to be required for 15-bed however, the hospital was upgraded to 50-bed. 


Similarly, other local health centres and health posts are facing the same problem of manpower shortage for long in the district. RSS
