Six arrested for duping people via networking business

ITAHARI, Sept 21: Itahari police have arrested six people on the charge of duping the public through a networking business.

ITAHARI, Sept 21: Itahari police have arrested six people on the charge of duping the public through a networking business.


Those involved in a fraud gang that earns upto twelve thousand monthly under the banner of Global Orins Nepal Pvt Ltd in a rented room of Sajan Rai’s house in Itahari ward no 9 have been arrested.

Police arrested Sasita Rai of Morang Miklajung ward no. 1, Sanjiv Majhi of Sundarharaincha ward no 7, Bikram Majhi of Gramthan ward no 3, Pankaj Kumar Sah and Arun Mudyari of Kathari ward no. 6, and Padam Rai of Jhapa Birtamod ward no 10.


According to the area police office, Itahari, they have recovered materials such as computers, laptops, mobile phones, photos of various people, contracts with citizenship, tickets, wills, stamps, medals, certificates, etc. from the arrested.


Police Inspector Bhim Khadka said that the group had enticed people to become a member of the network by saying that they will get many benefits and can travel to different countries.
