Six Chinese nationals held with 1.5KG gold from TIA

KATHMANDU, May 7: The Police has arrested 6 Chinese nationals for allegedly smuggling around 1.5 kg gold from Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Nepal’s sole international airport on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, May 7: The Police has arrested 6 Chinese nationals for allegedly smuggling around 1.5 kg gold from Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Nepal’s sole international airport on Sunday.

According to Airport Police source, “They were on the way to China.” They further added, “We have taken under custody one male and 5 females.” Those Chinese nationals were heading towards Fuling, China.


Police is ongoing for the investigation. After completing the procedures of customs department, Police will be investigating more upon the case.
