Six detainees escape after breaking prison wall

JANAKPURDHAM,Jan 30: On Sunday night, six detainees broke the wall and escaped from the custody of Dhanusha Police at Mahendranagar, Dhanusha.

JANAKPURDHAM,Jan 30: On Sunday night, six detainees broke the wall and escaped from the custody of Dhanusha Police at Mahendranagar, Dhanusha.


Chief of Madhesh Police, Basant Kunwar informed Republica that they were in police custody for various cases and escaped by breaking the wall of the detention house. According to him, a search for the detainees is going on.

Binod Kumar Sharma of Dhanusha Kshireshwornath Municipality-5 who was in police custody in a drug case, Amit Mandal of Kshireshwarnath Municipality-2 in the case of obstructing the work of public servants and Roshan Yadav who was in police custody in the same case have absconded.


Similarly, Harideep Singh of Mithila Municipality-2, who is incarcerated for indecent behavior, Roshan Mahato and Shankar Singh of Mithila Municipality-6, rested for alleged smuggling of arms and accessories, have absconded.
