Six held for robbing jewelry shop

KATHMANDU, April 3: Police on Sunday arrested six persons who allegedly looted 64 tolas of gold and cash from a jewelry shop in Kathmandu on March 31 with the involvement of police.

KATHMANDU, April 3: Police on Sunday arrested six persons who allegedly looted 64 tolas of gold and cash from a jewelry shop in Kathmandu on March 31 with the involvement of police.


The arrested include Ajaya Gurung, Subash Kharel, Raj Kumar Tamang, Sundar Tamang, Kshitij Tamang and Lapsang Lama. Gurung is a constable of Nepal police.  Police made the suspects public on Sunday alongside 59 tolas of gold, cash and phone sets from the arrestees.

Other two suspects Bal Bahadur Thapa Magar and Nabin Dhakal are still at large. Both are Nepal police personnel.
