Six of the injured in Urlabari fire incident in critical condition

KATHMANDU, Nov 17: The condition of six individuals who were injured in a fire incident in Urlabari of Morang is said to be critical.


According to Dr Nijina Tamrakar of Kirtipur Burn Hospital, among the 25 people currently under treatment, six are in serious condition due to burns. She said that burn injuries inherently escalate the severity of the patients' conditions. She added that the medical team is diligently working to provide necessary treatment.

She said, "We are making concerted efforts to manage the situation effectively, with a focus on the critical conditions of these six individuals.”


On November 9, a fire broke out in Deepak Karki's residence in Urlabari-7, Bargachhi, Morang, resulting in injuries to 27 people, including four policemen. In response, 25 of the injured were airlifted to Kathmandu via a Nepali Army aircraft for medical treatment.
