KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Fog has enveloped most of the Terai areas today while there is a possibility of snowfall in hilly and mountainous areas.
The weather in Nepal is currently influenced partially by the western wind in Nepal. Due to this, there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and the high hilly and mountainous regions of Sudurpaschim Province, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

The weather is expected to change partially till Monday. There is also a possibility of snowfall in some places of high hills and mountainous regions, according to the MFD.
The MFD has asked all to remain alert as there will be cold weather in Terai and snowfall in the highlands and mountainous regions.
