Happily married

Sneha Baral, 25, is a BA graduate from Parsa and she is currently living in Dahachowk, Kathmandu. “Watching my married cousins fight all the time, I never wanted to get married. But I had an arranged marriage. Initially, did not like the fact that my husband was four years older than me and studied up to SEE. But gradually, I grew closer to him as he was willing to give everything to make me happy. It’s been 23 days since I gave birth to my baby girl. She is our first child. She is currently hospitalized for an infection. But, her father is more concerned about our child than I am. Seeing him and my little girl makes me realize that having a partner in life is a beautiful thing. Everybody has differences of opinion and clash of ideologies, but marriage is a beautiful bond,” says Baral.
