Speaker rules govt to respond to questions raised in parliament

KATHMANDU, April 10: House of Representatives Speaker Devraj Ghimire has issued a ruling to the government to respond to the queries raised by lawmakers at various times during the lower house session.

KATHMANDU, April 10: House of Representatives Speaker Devraj Ghimire has issued a ruling to the government to respond to the queries raised by lawmakers at various times during the lower house session. 


He issued such a ruling during the meeting of the House of Representatives today.

 "The MPs have been raising issues on various matters of public concern during the zero and special hours as well as other meetings of the House. I would like to draw the attention of the government to the Rule 15, Sub-rule 2 of the House of Representatives Regulations and direct it to respond to the questions raised so far," Speaker Ghimire said, issuing the ruling.
