Students protesting against NRB Governor in Baluwatar detained

KATHMANDU, July 17: A protest was held demanding the resignation of Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari. The Nepal Student Union and All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (Revolutionary) held a joint protest demanding Adhikari’s resignation.

KATHMANDU, July 17: A protest was held demanding the resignation of Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari. The Nepal Student Union and All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union (Revolutionary) held a joint protest demanding Adhikari’s resignation.


On Sunday morning, police intervened in the demonstration held in front of the Nepal Rastra Bank office at Baluwatar in Kathmandu.

The police arrested the protestors. During the demonstration, some protesters were injured in clashes with the police.
