CM Shah requests Israeli Ambassador to help trace whereabout of Bipin Joshi
KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The chief minister (CM) of Sudurpaschim Province, Kamal Bahadur Shah, and Israeli Ambassador Hanan Goder Goldberger, held a meeting today. The CM’s Secretariat said that a meeting between CM Shah and Ambassador Goldberger was held in Kathmandu this morning.

During the meeting, CM Shah and Ambassador Goldberger discussed relief and compensation for the families of Nepali students who lost their lives in Israel, as well as the case of the missing student Bipin Joshi. CM Shah requested the Israeli Ambassador to ensure proper relief and compensation for the families of the students who tragically died in Israel while participating in the 'Learn and Earn' program from Sudurpaschim University.
"CM Shah also urged the Israeli ambassador to meet with the families of the deceased and provide them with consolation," stated Chandra BK, the personal secretary of CM Shah. "He also requested their assistance in the immediate rescue of the missing Bipin Joshi," BK added.
Furthermore, CM Shah appealed to the Israeli government to actively participate in and support the investment and development conference to be organized by the Sudurpaschim government on March 6 and 7.
During the meeting, Ambassador Goldberger expressed the Israeli government's deep sorrow over the death of the Nepali students and assured that proper compensation measures were being taken. He conveyed that the government of Israel is genuinely concerned about the rescue of Bipin Joshi.
