KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The Netherlands emerged victorious over Nepal by a narrow margin of two runs in the second match of the tri-nations T20I series at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Nepal restricted the Netherlands to 184 runs for the loss of four wickets.
However, Nepal fell short of the target, managing to score only 182 runs.

Dipendra Singh Airee led the charge with a half-century, contributing 63 runs to the team’s total, while Captain Rohit Poudel’s 50 runs further bolstered Nepal’s innings.
Aasif Sheikh and Kushal Malla added 34 and 11 runs respectively.
The Dutch team posted a total of 184 runs for the loss of four wickets within the allotted 20 overs.
Michal Levitt, making his debut in T20I matches for the Netherlands, scored a half-century, while S Engelbrecht contributed 49 runs to the team’s total.
