According to the reports, Oppenheimer was the head at the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Second World War. He led the ‘Manhattan Project’, which first developed nuclear weapons, along with supervising the first atomic bomb-known as trinity test in the New Mexico. He is also given the title ‘father of the atomic bomb’.

According to a report of VANITYFAIR, the teaser of Christopher Nolan’s film presents the premise of an atomic bomb with a voice over saying, “You gave them the power to destroy themselves and made him the most important man who ever lived." The footage of the film is monochromatic. The video ends with the line - 'The man who moved the Earth', when Oppenhimer’s face is showcased and he walks down a hallway.

The film is set to open in theaters on July 21, 2023.
