‘The Chainsmokers’ to perform concert in space

The popular American electronic DJ and production duo - Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall has announced the plan to launch into space in 2024 for a once- in- a-lifetime concert.

The popular American electronic DJ and production duo - Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall has announced the plan to launch into space in 2024 for a once- in- a-lifetime concert.


The duo has partnered with a new space tourism company ‘World View’ that plans to begin chartering flights to the edge of space, according to the report of Associated Press.

According to the reports, the band will perform at about 20 miles above Earth. The entire flight will last somewhere between six to twelve hours.


The duo said to Associated Press, “We have always dreamed of going to space and are stoked to collaborate with World View to have this adventure and experience,” “We know the views of both Earth and space are going to be incredible and inspiring and we hope to leverage this flight for creativity on future projects.”


According to World View, the pressurized capsule will seat eight passengers and two crew members. Similarly, CEO of the company, Ryan Hartman told Associated Press that the band will be the first artists to perform in the stratosphere.


The duo’s popular songs include ‘Closer’, ‘Paris’, ‘Don’t let me down’ and ‘Something Just Like This’.
