Title-sponsored by the world's leading hair care brand TRESemmé, the Daljit Sudan Fashion Runway 2018 was concluded on Friday at Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu. According to a press statement released by TRESemmé, the fashion runway featured international designer Daljit Kaur Sudan’s latest collection showcased by 24 models, of which 16 were female and 8 were male. The show featured a 192-foot-long runway.
BRI: A ‘Pandora’s box’?
Inspired by the ‘Magic of Zaffran’, or saffron as popularly known, the collection was put together over the past few months. It showcased Daljit Sudan’s love for the flower saffron from which she has drawn inspiration for her collection, according to the statement. The collection featured traditional, contemporary segments, apart from her own special segment of designs. All of her collection showcased Kashmiri embroidery with fabrics from Nepal, India, Italy and Japan.
