Kavita Seth enthralls music aficionados in Kathmandu

Bollywood playback singer Kavita Seth was recently invited by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, in Kathmandu for a musical event titled 'Sufi Music with Kavita Seth'.


The live musical performance was held at Army Officers’ Club, Sundhara on Thursday. The singer sang her hit numbers such as ‘Jeetein Hain Chal’ ‘Iktara’, ‘Tumhi Ho Bandhu’, ‘Mora Piya’, ‘Chhap Tilak’, ‘Dama Dam Mast Qalandar’, ‘Sab Jag Maya’,and more in the event that left the audience mesmerized with her performance.

In the event, Former Chairman of Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi, Ambassador of India to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri and Deputy Chief of Mission for Embassy of India Dr Ajay Kumar were present as the guests.


Speaking at the event, singer Seth expressed her happiness for the opportunity to perform here. She said, “This is one of the best performance of my life and I promise that we will meet again.” Her soulful and deep voice created a magical environment for the audiences where she performed for two hours.
