KATHMANDU, March 22: On Saturday, two other clips were circulated widely on social media platforms.
In one of these audio clips, a woman is heard sharing fake information that the Nepal Army (NA) is spraying disinfectant from a chopper after 12 in the night. The woman also urged the public to stay home after hearing the sound of the chopper as it sprays disinfectants.

According to NA, the audio is misleading as it is not spraying disinfectants from choppers.
Likewise, in one Tiktok video, a youth named Nayan Raj Pandey is heard sharing that 17 persons have died after being infected with the virus. “The boy producing the TikTok video is in the United States, and police are further investigating into the matter,” said DIG Sailesh Thapa, adding that those producing misleading clips will face legal action.
