Three cases of theft in Hetauda

HETAUDA, Aug 30: The cases of robbery have been increasing in Hetauda lately. Three cases of robbery were recorded last night alone. An unidentified group has robbed a ward office, SBI Bank Office and Sathiko Money Transfer in the city.

HETAUDA, Aug 30: The cases of robbery have been increasing in Hetauda lately. Three cases of robbery were recorded last night alone. An unidentified group has robbed a ward office, SBI Bank Office and Sathiko Money Transfer in the city. 


They have broken into the office of the ward -1 of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City and took away Rs 61,050 stashed in the office's cupboard.

According to the Ward Chair Sabin Neupane, locals had informed police after learning about the case this morning. Neupane shared that the papers in the office are safe although the money in the office was taken away. 


Similarly, the thieves have sneaked into the Sathiko Money Transfer at Hetauda-10 and taken away some cash and recharge cards of mobile phone, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Naresh Kumar Singh. 


Singh said that they were waiting for the details of the amount robbed by the thieves from the money transfer. 


Likewise, thieves have made a failed attempt of robbery at the SBI Bank's branch office in Hetauda last night. 


According to the police, padlocks in the three shutter doors were shattered but no amount were found to be misplaced or lost in the bank during the investigations. RSS
