MAKWANPUR, Sept 6 : Three persons including a child died in a road accident at Bhimphedi of Makwanpur district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as 70-year-old Bir Bahadur Waiba of Mahottari, Mahendra Sahani, 60, of Sarlahi and 10-month-old Samragyi Majhi of Ramechhap, said police.
Two youths killed in Jhapa road mishap
Majhi died on the spot while two others died in course of treatment at Hetauda Hospital.
Eight others were injured in the incident. The accident took place when a jeep (Na 1 Ja 3640) heading towards Kathmandu from Sarlahi fell 100 meters down from Chihandanda of Bhimphedi.
Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Makwanpur, Mukesh Kumar Singh, informed that the injured ones have been undergoing treatment at Bhimphedi Hospital, Hetauda Hospital and Churehill Hospital.
