Two medical students die in road mishap in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ, Jan 22: Two youths, who were pursuing their studies in medicine in Birgunj, Parsa, lost their lives in a motorcycle accident on Sunday.

BIRGUNJ, Jan 22: Two youths, who were pursuing their studies in medicine in Birgunj, Parsa, lost their lives in a motorcycle accident on Sunday.


According to the police, the accident occurred at Birgunj-15, claiming the lives of two students enrolled in the MBBS program at Birgunj National Medical College.

The deceased have been identified as Sumit Yadav, 23, from Dhanusha and Sanchit Yadav, 23, from Bara.


According to DSP Kumar Bikram Thapa, both were second-year MBBS students.


Authorities suspect that the motorcycle accident may have resulted from excessive speed.


The bodies of the two youths are currently at Narayani Hospital for post-mortem examinations, According to the police, further investigation is ongoing.
