Three Indian nationals drown in Tinau River in Palpa

KATHMANDU, June 11: Three Indian nationals, who had gone to take bath in the Tinau River in Jumsha, Tinau Rural Municipality-3, drowned in the river.

KATHMANDU, June 11: Three Indian nationals, who had gone to take bath in the Tinau River in Jumsha, Tinau Rural Municipality-3, drowned in the river.


According to Sugandha Shrestha, Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office, two men along with one child died while swimming in the river. Mukunda Sharma, 23, a resident of Bodhhanithana Basahia, Maharajgunj, drowned on Sunday while swimming in the river. Likewise, Aaryan Kumar, about 15, of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, drowned in the river on Monday. Similarly, Faheem Ahmat, 35, of Kanpur, died at the same location on Saturday.

According to police, it appears that precautions were not taken as the incidents continued to occur.
