DOTI, Aug 12: Three persons were killed and 33 others were injured in a road accident in Doti on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at Purbichauki Rural Municipality-1 in the district when a bus (Na 6 Kha 2529) heading toward Achham from Dhangadhi drove off the highway and fellow some 30 meters down at around 6AM.
Doti jeep accident: two killed, seven injured
District Police Office, Doti, confirmed that three persons killed while 33 others injured in the incident. One of the injured is said to be critical. Security personnel and locals are carrying out rescue operations. The injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Doti.
The deceased have been identified as 31-year-old Tikaram Biswakarma from Chaurpati Rural Municipality-7 of Achham, 60-year-old Padam Saud from Bannigadhi Rural Municipality-3, and 55-year-old Lachhimadevi Biswakarma from Narayanpur-4, Kailali.
