DANG, Dec 13: Three people have died in a jeep accident in Dang on Sunday. At least 16 people have been injured when a jeep (Ra 1 Ja 438) heading to Salyan Kapurkot from Tulsipur met with an accident.
The deceased have been identified as Premprakash Sharma, 48, of Salyan Kapurkot Rural Municipality-4, Sauni Gharti, 46, and Karna Bahadur Khadka, 46. The accident took place near Tulsipur-3 Sirkhola, according to Shyamu Aryal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Area Police Office, Tulsipur.

The accident took place when the brakes of the ill-fated jeep failed. The jeep had fallen about 200 meters from the road. The injured are undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, according to the police.
