KATHMANDU, August 15: The number of tourists visiting the Bardiya National Park (BNP) has increased. This year, 120 cubs and adult tigers have been counted in the BNP.
Tourists visit the forest to see tigers. Guide Anuram Chaudhary said that tourists who visit the park are ecstatic after seeing the tigers. "During this season, tourists' desire to see tigers is fulfilled," Chaudhary says, "They get happy after seeing tigers". Because of the tigers, this park has recently become the choice of domestic and foreign tourists. Chief Conservation Officer Bishnu Prasad Shrestha said that the number of tourists visiting the main area of the park has increased.
Rara attracts tourists enjoying snow
In the last fiscal year, more than 10,000 people visited the park. “This is a good number for us,” Chief Conservation Officer Shrestha said, “Now that it is the season to see tigers, we hope that the number of tourists will increase.”
