KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Tilak Raj Pandey has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Bank Limited. Pandey was appointed to the post for four years by the decision of the bank's board of directors on Friday.
There were five people in the race for CEO. Of them, Pandey was appointed based on his professional action plan and interview.

Along with Pandey in the CEO race were Ashok Kumar Paudel, Dhruba Chandra Gautam, Laxman Paudel and Samata Pant Bhatta.
The bank initiated the CEO selection process by inviting applications on October 8 through an open competition.
