ITAHARI, July 5: A tipper hit and killed a woman and her daughter in Itahari on Tuesday.
Police said that the deceased have been identified as Sita Chaudhary and her daughter Anusha Chaudhary. The tipper hit their scooter around 3:45 pm on Tuesday.

The two were critically injured in the accident. They were immediately rushed to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for further treatment where they breathed their last.
Locals claimed that the tipper driver allegedly attempted to kill the two individuals by reversing the vehicle. As a result, the situation in the area became tense for sometime.
