KATHMANDU, Dec 22: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has directed Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to cancel the free ticket privilege for former chairpersons of the corporation.
Talking to the management and employees at the NAC’s office on Tuesday, he said that the ministry has decided not to privatize the corporation and directed to cancel the four free-ticket privilege being provided to the former chairpersons of the corporation.

Instructing the corporation to make a plan to move the corporation toward commercial success by freeing it from financial burden, Minister Ale said that the privilege was scrapped at the suggestion of Tourism Secretary Maheshwar Neupane. Earlier, the retired chairpersons of the corporation would get four international tickets a year.
